The Chicago Cubs are in the World Series!
Now that we have your attention Cubs fans, it has not been since 1906 that the Cubs and White Sox have squared off against each other in the World Series.
Baseball is a summer time tradition throughout the United States and every year the Cubs fans in Chicago hold out for this year being “the year” that the team makes it back to the World Series.
White Sox fans have been a little more fortunate with team last making a run in 2005.
Whichever team you cheer for, the tradition of making a pilgrimage to either stadium for a game this summer is a must-do.
Cubs Fans Wrigley Field Favorites
The team a Dental Specialists of Niles, P.C. recently surveyed some Cubs fans about their favorite aspects of Wrigley Field (a.k.a. “The Friendly Confines”). Here is what they had to say:
- It’s traditional name
- The ivy covered outfield walls
- Rooftop seats across the street
- Unusual wind patterns
- The only stadium featured in The Blues Brothers movie
Whit Sox Fans Favorites of U.S. Cellular (formerly Comiskey Park)
The White Sox fans that we surveyed also weighed in on their favorite parts and aspects of U.S. Cellular stadium. Here is what they had to say:
- Awesome Fan Deck
- Showers to cool off during hot days
- The leather scout seats behind home plate
- The old home plate from Comiskey Park
Regardless if you are a Cubs fan or White Sox fan (yes, we know there is a difference) we encourage you to enjoy a game this summer and truly take in two of America’s unique sporting venues.
