Pumpkin Cherry Bread Recipe

  • 3 C. all-purpose flour
  • 1 tsp. cinnamon
  • 1⁄2 tsp. ginger
  • 1⁄2 tsp. nutmeg
  • 2 tsp. baking soda
  • 1 1⁄2 tsp. salt
  • 3 C. granulated sugar
  • 1 can Omena Organics Solid Pack Pumpkin
  • 4 large eggs
  • 1 C. vegetable oil
  • 1⁄2 C. orange juice
  • 1 C. dried Omena Organics Cherries tossed with a little flour to prevent sticking together

Instructions & Preparation

Preheat oven to 350 degrees Fahrenheit. Grease and flour two 9×5-inch loaf pans. Combine flour, cinnamon, ginger, nutmeg, baking soda, and salt in a large bowl. Combine sugar, pumpkin, eggs, vegetable oil, and orange juice in a larger mixer bowl; beat until blended. Add pumpkin mixture to flour mixture; stir until just moistened. Fold in cherries. Spoon the batter into prepared loaf pans. Bake for 60 to 65 minutes or until wooden pick inserted in center comes out clean. Cool in pans on wire racks for 10 minutes; remove to wire racks to cool completely.
