  • Sliding Door Tracks
  • Overlooked surfaces like door frames, base boards and walls
  • Deep clean carpets
  • Clean under furniture and appliances
  • Dust light fixtures

Spring = Safety

Spring cleaning is the perfect opportunity to conduct a home safety check.  This process can involve the following:

  • Check the batteries in your smoke detectors and replace them as needed.
  • Check the batteries in your carbon monoxide detectors and replace them as needed
  • Install a fire extinguisher in an easy-to-get-to location
  • Create a family evacuation plan to prepare for possible fires
  • Organize and make visible all emergency telephone numbers for the fire department, police department, utility companies, and emergency points of contact

Adopt New and Healthy Habits

As you perform your spring cleaning and organizational activities, consider scheduling regular dental appointments throughout the year.  You can also take this time to help yourself with friendly reminders such as daily brushing and flossing of your teeth.
