Your wedding day is one of the most important days of your life; you put a lot of time, energy and money into making it perfect. So when you’re planning your big day, schedule in a trip to us to ensure that your smile is as perfect as every other detail of your wonderful event.

To begin with, having your teeth professionally cleaned will remove unsightly tartar and stain. In addition, treating any gum infection will enable you to have healthy pink gums, fresh breath, and getting on your way to keeping your smile for a lifetime! For additional whitening, in-office professional whitening is your best approach since not all teeth respond well to whitening…depending on their original color and if you have any bonding or tooth colored fillings in the front of your mouth. And while over the counter kits can often give you uneven results or a “too white” look that actually detracts from your smile, we use a high-concentration peroxide gel, which is sometimes augmented by a light source. With the use of these professional products, we can ensure that your teeth will respond will to the procedures thus resulting in a smile that is natural looking and beautiful.

To begin with, we examine your teeth to ascertain if whitening will give you the results you are looking for. If whitening is a good solution, you then have the options of in-office whitening, which typically takes a couple of hours, or an “at-home” kit that we prepare in our office for you to take home and use over a one to two week period.

However, if your teeth are stained, discolored, chipped or misaligned, we may recommend a dentist to make for you porcelain veneers, which are individually crafted and then bonded over the top of your teeth, look natural, and are strong and durable. To create the veneers, an impression is made of the tooth or teeth that need to be covered and then send the impression to a dental lab. Once the veneer is received from the lab, it will be applied to your teeth with a special bonding material. Veneers are an ideal solution when your teeth are in good health, but not as perfect looking as you want them to be…especially for your wedding day.

Once your teeth are white and your smile is beautiful, if you have lines around your mouth that you want to reduce or eliminate, a non-surgical dermal filler called Restylane® can be used. The product is made from hyaluronic acid which is naturally occurring in the body and the results will last up to eighteen months. We perform this procedure very gently with a very thin needle and light local anesthetic. The gel fills out any lines or wrinkles you may have on your face and can also be used to fill in lips that may be too thin. The side effects from this product are very minimal and disappear within a few days.
